Kenny (Hùng) Trần

Principal | Director | Family Lawyer

Who am I?

My family arrived in Australia as refugees in the late 1980s, and I grew up in public housing. I was the first in my family to attend university, and that journey shaped my understanding of the challenges many Australians face. Today, I’m proud to be your local suburban family lawyer—someone who knows what it’s like to work hard, navigate change, and stand up for what matters most.

Where have I worked?

I started my legal career in generalist practice, did a short stint as a community lawyer and have predominantly practised in Family Law. I now specialise exclusively in Family Law, Family Violence, and Estate Law.

Why should I be your lawyer?

I understand the challenges of everyday Australian's particularly in today's economy. I became a lawyer to support people through some of their most difficult moments—not to drain their life savings. Legal services should be accessible, not overwhelming.

I handle all complexity of financial and parenting matters with care and dilegence. Clients value my direct communication style and the fact that I’m always willing to pick up the phone.

My commitment is to deliver legal services that are accessible, efficient, and grounded in value. As Samuel Butler once said, ‘In law, nothing is certain but the expense’—a mindset I actively challenge. While I don’t provide legal aid or free services, I do provide fair and reasonable legal representation.
